Everything is made up of energy, including ourselves. Reiki is a way of channeling healing energy, developed by master Mikao Usui over 200 years ago. The term “Reiki” comes from the Japanese Kanji (words): “Rei” meaning Universal and “Ki” meaning Life Energy. Reiki is an abundant and gentle Spiritual Energy, that is not tied to any one Religion/Practice.
There are hand placements used during Session, however Reiki Energy goes where needed during Session. It aids in healing by helping people become energetically balanced, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Some benefits of Reiki Sessions include, but are not limited to:

✨ dissolve blockages and tension
✨ detox the body
✨ helps to relieve pain
✨ helps to increase energy
✨ increase your vibrational frequency on a physical, emotional and spiritual level
BEFORE SESSION:
✨ You will be emailed intake forms to be completed and sent in before your appointment time.
✨ Eat and drink well before your appointment time, use the restroom and remove any jewelry and shoes so you are comfortable, and not distracted by hunger or thirst.
✨ Get comfortable either sitting or laying, relax and reflect for 10-15 minutes before your appointment time.
DURING SESSION:
✨ If your session is in person, you will lay fully clothed, face down on the Reiki table. Reiki is administered using light touch, crystals and other tools for healing. (If you have needs that prevent this, please let me know during intake)
✨ If your session is a distance session, I ask that you sit or lay and get comfortable. I will be using my Reiki distance chart as a surrogate to send the energy to you. We will still use various healing tools.
✨ The experience of Reiki is subjective. Some fall asleep during their session, some feel heat or cold move through their body, or through my hands, and some don’t feel anything during, but experience a deep relaxed feeling afterwards, as if they were in a deep sleep for hours.
AFTER SESSION:
Reiki is not to be used to diagnose any issues, and medical advice should always be sought by a Doctor.
✨ Drink a lot of water after your session whether you feel anything during your session or not!
✨ Some find their body has a lot of detoxing to do after a Reiki session! You may find yourself incredibly tired or using the bathroom more. It is stagnant energy that is finally moving and releasing. Be patient with yourself while your body is healing!
✨ Again, the experience of Reiki is subjective. Some do not feel anything after their first session. Whether you do or not, I suggest the start of 3 sessions so you can assess where you came in, and where you are after. You may find things you weren’t focusing on as getting better!
